Hi SPENGA Fam! I'm a Bay Area native, growing up in Oakland and now raising two boys in Danville. I grew up playing sports and fell in love with exercise and nutrition. I have been in the fitness industry for the last decade as a trainer and instructor. My passion for nutrition  led me to get my Master's in Holistic Health and Nutrition. I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing SPENGA Crew and help you reach your goals and unlock your potential! You truly are so much stronger than you think - physically and mentally!!

Dana Patterson

I have always loved teaching. Finding my why in life early; having taught elementary school, college level classes and a variety of high intensity formats of fitness, I have a passion for guiding others towards their goals and health. After only dabbling in yoga over the years, it is now my favorite format to teach. I wanted to work for SPENGA because I believe in their program. Finally, a place that offered the right combination of all modes of fitness to members; with dedicated time to recovery!

For me, the unexpected bonus of working at SPENGA is the sense of community among members and staff. When I'm not training or striking a pose, I find my zen with family; especially on the beach (the shore), with a book and some tunes. I'm an avid concert goer, an audiobook and podcast addict and I love to cook, especially if there is a glass of red nearby... hey it's heart healthy!

This 40 minute session is half circuit-style STRENGTH training and half revitalizing YOGA flow.
